Tamnavulin

First Society bottling in 1986.

Its Gaelic name means The Mill on the Hill, and it spells its name slightly differently to the village there. Prior to the distillery being mothballed in 1995, the old carding mill nearby housed the Visitors' Centre. It is very modern and may be operated by two men. It is the only distillery to stand beside the Livet burn, from which it draws cooling water.
