Sweetly floral to begin; honeyed and full of toasted seeds and fruit-studded trail mix. Some dried notes of cornflour were also noted, along with cinnamon breakfast cereals, pineapple juice, light green tea and apples stewed in rum. With reduction we found ripe pears, ice wine, hair gel, Darjeeling tea, white stone fruits and crushed aspirin. The mouth was initially nutty and full of bitter lemon and citrus oils. Some white pepper gave bite which was balanced by softer notes of ferns, newspaper ink, chalk, toasted breads and floral sweetness. Water brought out orange liqueur, lemon barley water, hops, biting shilling sales, dried tarragon, grassy rapeseed oil, citrus pith, pay leaf and kumquat
